Attendee FAQ

  • Is the conference in-person or virtual?
    The conference will be fully in-person!
  • How many CE hours are available?
    By attending the full conference (all day Friday & Saturday), you can earn up to 15 CE hours! There are 7 CE hours offered on Friday and 8 CE hours offered on Saturday.
  • What tracks are offered?
    Small Animal I, Small Animal II, Equine, Food Animal, Complementary Medicine (Saturday only), Technician, and Public Practice (Friday only).
  • I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician/technician student/assistant, where can I register for the conference?
    LVTs, technician students and veterinary assistants can register for the conference via VALVT! The VALVT represents veterinary technicians in the state of Virginia and provides a technician track that is catered to LVTs. Technicians/students/assistants are also welcome to attend any of the DVM lectures during the conference.
  • Are there different registration options?
    Yes! Attendees can register for the full conference (Thursday evening
    Saturday evening), as well as single-day registration options for both Friday and Saturday.
  • What does registration include?
    Your registration allows you access to the CE sessions, exhibit hall, conference meals (breakfast, lunch, and all day breaks), and online speaker proceedings.
  • Can my spouse/guest attend?
    Guests are welcome to attend the Thursday reception, Friday reception and awards ceremony, free of charge! If guests would like to visit the exhibit hall or partake in conference meals, they must be registered and pay the guest fee.
